If you like blue and like dragons, its a game worth delving into. As a long-time player I prefer mono-black (zombies and stuff,) but blue is inarguably the strongest color in the game, with a lot of cards that just flat-out stop other players from doing anything. As such, it's reviled by those of us who prefer other less spoiler-y tactics.
The game also has a good POC quotient of characters IMO (with the admission I'm white so may not be the best judge?)
@GuerillaGrue Thanks for the recommendation! I'm aware of Magic: The Gathering, but just never got into it. Good to hear it does have Black and Brown characters, though!
