Is there a #Botony corner of Mastodon that can tell me what’s growing in this planter in my back yard?

I used Plant.Net app to get this top result for your image:

And yes, Morning Glories are in the same family as the Black Bindweed I listed.

We've had something almost exactly the same growing in a barrel on our patio garden for years. It's never flowered, though, and it gets highly invasive, wrapping around everything, producing a ton of little seeds that birds love (and spread), and moving into all our other planter pots.

We've gotten so as soon as we spot the little buggers coming up, we pluck them so they won't reseed more the next year. And still....

@dramypsyd Do they have reddish stems? Whatever Bindweed variant is in our barrel, it has telltale red stems.

@DragonSeaClouds ooh good to know it’s invasive!
@dramypsyd not that i’ve found siri to be perfectly correct, but it has some suggestions (Black Bindweed, or Ipomeoa)… seeing it’s blooms would help, but it looks like some sort of morning glory or ground cover ivy to me!
