COVID disinfectants may contain harmful chemicals, researchers say

The use of common household disinfectants containing QACs rose during the COVID-19 pandemic and have been linked to health issues in animal and human studies. Disinfectants containing QACs may also encourage pathogens to become more resilient to antibacterials and antimicrobials.
