New #lego project in progress. I bought the Saturn V from a colleague, but it looked a bit sad just standing on its own, so I decided to build a launch platform for it using only what I have. The result so far is not bad I think. I will have to make a bunch of concessions (like eg the white tubes for which I having nothing I can use), but I’ll figure that out once I get there :)
Another iteration! Happy with the progress 😊
Did some work on the backside and pipes today
Raw layout of the core structure finished :)
Changed the core structure this weekend and finished it. Also made the Colby crane. It’s starting to look very cool. Also glad my measurements were correct; I have 1 cm clearance to the ceiling when it’s in the place I reserved for it :)

Spend another day on the LUT:
- improved the Colby crane
- Added the Damping, Retract, and Reconnect System (DRRS)
- Created a first version of the Command Module Access Arm

Not a lot of time for Lego this weekend, but did some work on the side tubes

Worked on the upper service arms today. Don’t hate the result, but also don’t love them yet. I do like the way the access module is starting to look :)

Not a lot of progress this weekend as I did some work in the house. Finished arm 7, but feel it is to clunky. Also started with the layout of the tubes on the third side, but I feel gray would be better. So I decided to place another bricklink order with new parts that hopefully arrive this week.
Made some nice progress this weekend. Finished the 4 upper arms and refactored the damping arm. Also added the tubes on the third side and started adding equipment on the floors (where I heavily apply ‘creative inspiration’). Still a lot of work to do!

Had some spare time this morning so decided to add the cross bars on each platform; really happy with the result :)

(Was less happy with the fact I had to rebuild the crane, stabilizer, and access arm due to a moment of not paying attention…)
