@syneryder oh interesting - that seems to be a specifically Canadian thing - not heard about that before.
I am not sure it would really have the same impact as the international sequin-fest that is #Eurovision.
I'm rather surprised CBC left out another notable Canadian entry in Eurovision history, Céline Dion won Eurovision in '88 representing Switzerland
