@Bellingen I worked for a Council for a 10 years. What always amazed me was the inability to learn from past mistakes and here we are, in 2023, and still silting up forest and creeks. To quote someone from the Roads Department: "trees cause erosion" - because they would see the roots after flood events. No roots, no erosion.
Anyone using Vetiver Grass in Bellingen? As the climate changes, I don't think native plants are going to cut it in the bad spots.
