I sacrificed a full quarter's income by locking myself in a room and now, after months of grueling labor at the computer, I am proud to release the most comprehensive guide to buskers and busking which has been written in years.
300+ pages with copious photographs, bibliography and appendixes of key legal cases. I also discuss busking law in Australia and the UK with sections on busking in New Zealand, Africa and the major busking meccas (Dublin, Covent Garden, Seattle's Fish Market, San Diego's Balboa Park, LA, SF, NYC, Boston).
I am planning the second edition already with expanded sections on busking Europe, Asia and Latin America - the first edition is focused on the English-speaking world. Many chapters on circus acts and street theater and the struggle for the freedom to busk.
