What annoyed me most about BBT is the things they got WRONG. They're meant to be pedantic geeks but it's obvious the writers were not.

@Jyoti @CultureDesk I once saw a deep dive into BBT about how the show spent a lot of time punching down at nerd culture instead of being part of it. I find my enduring memory was how the President of a previous company kinda made Sheldon the mascot of the development department. He thought the show was hilarious, while at the same time not being a tech nerd himself, he was more of a sales/accounting guy.

I have to be careful here as the last time I criticised BBT for being fake geek, I got leapt on by a load of geeks who love it.

It's kinda crazy how this show flew under the radar for lots of people, but everyone that's seen it absolutely loves it. Really is incredible.

@Jyoti I wish it would get a complete blu-ray release! I’m so glad they let it grow beyond “Mad Men in the 80s” and centered the women’s stories more. One of my all-time faves.
