The Holy City of Ming was a joint effort to exemplify the unity born from the new trade alliance and cultural blending of India and China, a state of affairs that developed as a natural outgrowth of mutual need after the Great Darkness of 1999. This city served as a cultural bridge between the two nations, birthing new industries and neo-cultures born from the intersection of both county's traditions and norms. For a while, the city flourished, becoming a mecca, of sorts, for those seeking new philosophical and religious landscapes, as well as new business ventures about proprietary tech that was coming out of the city. However, this alliance eventually broke down for geopolitical reasons, making the metropolis a battleground for competing nationalists.
