Disney chief #RobertIger says that the company is in talks now to purchase the remaining #Comcast stake in #Hulu, and that by the end of the year Hulu and #DisneyPlus will be combined into a single app. Meanwhile the company is also looking for ways to cut costs and that will include a culling of streaming programs similar to the #HBOMax situation. Disney is also quietly building its own ad-supported FAST channel service on the #ABC app to compete with services like #PlutoTV and #Tubi.
