I wasn't looking for a new game to pickup since I've got a lot on my plate right now, but the card game Marvel SNAP looked very interesting so I downloaded it.

I'm glad I did. The basic game is really easy to pick up, but you can really get strategic with it. Each game runs about 5 minutes and there's a good balance of luck and skill. I don't feel cheated or trounced by better players. And there's no real pressure to pay for anything. #MarvelSnap #Marvel

@mattrichardson I played that for a little bit, really good, definitely got a bit overwhelming with building decks. If you've got Apple Arcade highly recommend the new Disney Spellstruck, it's a disney themed Words with friends clone and each character has unique powers and you can play online, we've been having a lot of fun with it
@monorailtimes I do have Apple Arcade. Thanks for the reco, I'll download that too.
@mattrichardson 'kewlfocus' if you wanna start a match
@mattrichardson if you want some tips for building decks content creators on YouTube are constantly making videos about it. Since the deck size is so small, it’s really easy to experiment and try play styles you normally wouldn’t be interested in.
@MuseumShuffle thanks for the tip. So far, I’ve been just swapping out cards that don’t work well for me. I haven’t yet gotten into bigger picture deck strategy yet. Soon!
@mattrichardson things are friendlier for beginners now. When you get to series 3, you’ll get one free card a month from that series. That will definitely speed things up for your collection.
@mattrichardson that Wong/Black Panther combo is quite something.
