@msquebanh Oh, lovely. I seeded the vacant lot next to me with wildflowers last year, and a bunch of lupines are also putting up stalks and flowers this week. It's great. I wonder how hard it would be to harvest their seeds for next year.
@rbos I plant edible & native wildflowers & sunflowers & cannabis seeds in random public vacant lots, in suburban & urban cement cracks & also ninja seed bomb colonial government building gardens & properties of public colonizer politicians. #SeedsOfTheRevolution #GrassrootsLocalActivism #RebelSeedsSower #IPackGMOfreeSeedsNotAmmo
@rbos Seeds are easy to tap! I keep an envelope with assorted lupine seeds. I've actually propagated almost all of them in our gardens from cuttings though. Despite what some websites say about how hard to propagate lupines from cuttings - I've never had any cuttings fail. All did well & were transplanted to my gardens 🥰
@msquebanh
Cuttings, interesting. Just snip and plant, or do you do them in water first?
@rbos I snip & dip into raw honey & then raw cinnamon powder & root it into enriched soil. Works very well. I only put in water first - if cuttings aren't super fresh but I usually do propagating right after taking cuttings so don't soak in water.
@rbos Both raw honey & raw cinnamon are effective natural rooting mediums with anti-fungal powers too. Most effective natural root mediums you can use & can be found in most household pantries. I've used them both to propagate many different plants.
