It is really incredible how much work is involved when in a #vehicle #restoration. I mean, of course it involves doing all the tiny #details that no one pays #attention to during a normal car life. It's definitely not a "clean inside and outside, done" job. I assume the neighbors think that I might be a little #crazy. (I am not. More like pretty crazy). One called it "project of the century".

Every thing you take apart reveals something new to fix. All little things add up to something big!

On top of that, it doesn't exactly help that the car seems to have had little #accidents all around. I wouldn't even call them #fenderbender. #Italian car, eh? 🇮🇹🚗🤌🏻 #stereotypes

On top of that, it doesn't help either that the mechanic who worked on the car was a #tinkerer #deluxe. Don't know if that's an Italian stereotype, but when you force a sheet metal #screw into a tapped hole because you supposedly lost the proper set screw, that's not #cheap, that's just #bricolage.

And, being who I am, of course I #restore everything to it's #original state (or better, where needed).

I'm sure you can imagine that you can't really buy #vintage car parts or exotic screws and the like in your favourite #hardwarestore, so I'm working on stuff, see that I need #parts, need to #order those, wait for the #delivery.... And of course, when they arrive it is either #cold or #raining or both, so yeah, little progress since January. 😅

But #weather is getting way better ✌🏻
