At least 8 people were slaughtered after a mass shooting in Allen Texas yesterday

What’s their congressman do?

He gets butthurt that people don’t think thoughts and prayers are the answer

Saying people who don't believe in the power of prayer following a mass shooting aren't believers of an almighty god

This is someone who is in charge of the legislation to make these shootings slow or stop and his answer is that it’s out of his hands

His speech on the Senate floor follows an earlier mass shooting in midtown Atlanta, *just three days before* the shooting outside Dallas.

@soc_i_ety @SharonGibson3 @flexghost Indeed legislators need to act. But what about *us*? Every disaster should have a #boycott list pinned to it. For every shooting, ppl should boycott #FedEx for a week (I would normally say 1 month, but there are enough shootings that 1 week would suffice). #FedEx gives #NRA discounts, finances #ALEC, finances #RAGA, ships #sharkFins, hunting trophies, & slave dolphins. #BoycottFedEx.
