logged on to blue sky and immediately saw a long thread where a famous journalist QTed a random asshole and the random asshole tried to dialogue the journo about QTs and question the journo’s use of shame and imo made some salient points but it was so clear that the cool thing to do wasto hate the guy who got QTed and treat him like garbage so everyone did. I wanted to weigh in but have learned the hard way, people don’t want to think or to humanize on twitter (2.0) they’re in mob shame mode 1/x
@seachanger
BTW, this post is going to age like a fine wine.
@noondlyt after bouncing in and observing the initial posting frenzy in there, then returning to my mastodon feed via ivory app, I have to say that the quality of posts, functionality, overall experience, and thoughtfulness of users is just vastly better over here 🤷‍♀️
@seachanger @noondlyt vastly better, indeed! Almost up to the best of G+, that seems ages ago. #GPlusRefugee
@noondlyt I’d love to see more elected leaders and public agencies posting in here but maybe it’s ok to let go 24/7 access to the cool lefty writer/posters
