#TheFamousTeddyZ s1e8 (1989) - 10/10
Strong story; very funny.
1️⃣ The b-story is pure comedy gold. Al Floss negotiates a great deal for a dead client (because he’s too embarrassed to admit he didn’t know about the death). #AlexRocco is truly hilarious. His every word, his every inflection, is a joy to behold. He steals every scene. He steals the episode. This b-story is one of the high points of the entire series.
2️⃣ And it’s actually a very good a-story. Clever, interesting, funny. It gives #JaneSibbett (#SantaBarbara, #HermansHead) more to do than usual, and she’s great as Laurie tries desperately to save the day for her idiot boss.
3️⃣ Question: Did Teddy and Laurie go on their date, between episodes? Direct reference is made to Esther Luna, so we know this story directly follows the previous one. In both production order and airdate order. But no mention is made of the date?
