Everytime I see an anti-China post, especially from someone in the US, I feel like saying... "It is complicated."

Fun fact: In ancient times, countries in South-East Asia used to send tributes to China.

Could you do a blurb on your feelings about "pro-China" comments too?

Complete with a "fun fact"?

Maybe even one about the #CCP, or is that *too* complicated?

Some people recognize the #chinese #dictatorship to be an entity separate from its disenfranchised subjects.

@demi7en Well hello there, didn't take too long for a reply guy to show up
@demi7en @liztai Do you think the people are in power in the US? You don't even have a proper democracy. There are just two corrupt right wing parties. Ultra rich have direct influence in these parties through campaign funds. You have no choice. It is always corruption. Always war. Always gun violence. Always tax evasion. Americans can worry about China after they manage to have another party with significant vote share. For now, they need to look inwards.
@abhijith @[email protected] I agree the need to look inwards and fix the real problem causing this - corporations more interested in profits than the wellbeing of the nation, and a govt that panders to them.
