TANATOS! [pron: Ta-NAH-tos]
This fabulous toy hails from South Korean toyline, Turning Mecard, and has a cartoon series that is exactly #pokemon meets #transformers in both concept and execution.

If you'd like a taste of the show it's on Youtube in English. Tanatos himself appears about 1:50 in the episode I've linked to below, as the second combatant in one of those awfully over-blown CGI intros Anime series like to give characters. It's stupendously reminiscent of Transformers' Unicron-trilogy of shows as well, and even a bit RID (2000), all Japanese in origin.
