I hadn't realized this, but Tucker Carlson delivered the keynote at the Heritage Fdn's 50th anniversary gala on Friday, just days before Fox canned him. This is how the Daily Signal, Heritage's media arm, reported it:
In other words, just days before Murdoch axed him, Carlson gave a well-received fascist speech to the conservative movement's most influential think tank, at a confab marking its 50 years of poisoning our politics.
@sarahposner I think that points to his dislike of trump as the reason he's gone. They were probably worried that it alienated viewers, which would reduce ad revenue.
