I love her as an artist, but I can't help but wonder if Serra dislocated her leg at her kneecap. That leg to the right just makes me want to go "ow."

@ThatGuyYeah Alayna Danner posted on Twitter that she was able to pick the cards that she was doing the art for, and that she was eager to reimagine some of her favorite cards from her Angel deck. Danner doesn't usually include a ton of people in her art, and she obviously made an effort to change that for this project.
I don't know that Guay has that same level of passion for the game or the cards she was doing. I can't see inside her head, but it just seems to lack SOMETHING.
Like here's a link below to her other artwork name. That stuff there I like and surprised she didn't channel that more. It's weird, I love her work (even her post-magic stuff is amazing), but I just wasn't feeling it with half of her cards here.
@ThatGuyYeah Obviously, art is subjective, and tastes vary greatly from person to person. Under the subjectivity of my taste, none of this is doing it for me.
For me, art doesn't need to be realistic. If you're going to go for an impressionistic style, it needs to convey some sort of emotion or express something not otherwise able to be expressed.
Also, flowery jizz is the kind of thing a 10th-grader paints in an attempt to act mature and convince others they know what love is like.
