Bearing in mind that all this - coal mine politics, is occurring in a location, Cumbria, where many local residents burn coal, wood, kerosene & tanked gas for heating.

Plus local people are regularly exposed to the propaganda of the fossil fuel & wood fuel industries.

Not what you'd call a self sustainable energy culture.
