U.S. officials say they've identified & infiltrated the Mexican #cartel smuggling #fentanyl into U.S. cities. The Justice Dept & Drug Enforcement Admn say they now believe this 1 faction of the #Sinaloa cartel (#Chapitos network) built & now operates the major pipeline of illegal fentanyl, responsible for a lot of the 80,000 Americans dying from #opioid overdoses every year.

My #editorial: For years #Republicans have used the #opioidcrisis as an excuse to attack #JoeBiden & say we need a tougher border (or to build a wall). They attack #immigration, even thou the #migrants crossing the border are #refugees & #AsylumSeekers, & DO NOT transport #drugs. Now that the #Biden Admin has infiltrated the Mexican cartel, do you think #GOP will give him any credit? Nah! Theyll cont to attack him & blame #immigrants.
