So now I should have earned 2 x utmb running stones 👌🏼⛰️👏🏼
After math: “Because I’m with it” (bad reference, hope somebody gets it)
Oh - yeah pictures - almost forgot 🙄
@moelholm nice medal! Well done. How are the legs?

@cazmockett thanks 🙏🏼 . They are a bit flat 😂

Thought it would be a bit easier than it was. Likely due to the “technical rocky” downhill sections. Ankles are a bit sore too 😂

It’s ok - I was about to burst into laughing this evening at the restaurant: the runners were soo easy to spot!: they were walking like they made a poop 💩 in their trousers 😂😂😂😂. Hilarious. Then looking at these super sporty folks that can barely walk 👏🏼😀

@moelholm ha ha. I know what you mean by how they are walking 😂🤪
@moelholm Congratulations! 🥳🎉🖖🏻
@moelholm Nice work! Way to get it done!

@clovertalk hehe thanks 🤠🙏🏼 - yeah it wasn’t easy. So that’s important to say: the legs feel used and was also tired for the last 12k ish. But despite that and a short hamstring cramp - then I felt good. The hamstring cramp was not severe - just mega annoying as I had to stop and “get back”.

However I would be rich if I got a dollar for every person I saw (or heard yelling about) having a cramp 🙃. It seems to be a trail runner thing (for some) 😅

I’m getting better at minimizing them though🥳

@moelholm well done! UTS next?
@Sourdough thanks. Yes absolutely - UTS next month. One race in between in Denmark (in two weeks) though 😅. I’ll go easy in between them I think… to not overload myself too much
@moelholm good luck. You got this
@dominicvfx thanks 🙏🏼
@moelholm you have a lot of potential. Excited to see how far you will go

@dominicvfx that’s very nice of you to say - thanks a lot. I’ll try to not disappoint you too much 😀🤠🏃🏽🏃🏽

Btw: thanks again for the “hill 3 is runnable” tip. The words was in my mind on that uphill - and I prioritized running specifically due to that for those segments where the ascent wasn’t too crazy (otherwise I may have walked to prevent burning off to much effort, until after it)

@moelholm I remember a particularly tough race I was running. I kept remembering something someone told me over and over. It made me stronger. It made me believe I could do it. It was on a loop in my head until I got out of the dark place.
I meant it. I knew you could run it or at least part of it.

@dominicvfx 💪🏻 … I believe I could run most of it - but still played it slightly safe on some segments: knew I had to let loose after the hill. I think it was a good strategy - because it may otherwise have impacted the rest of the kilometers waiting after it negatively.

Experience like that is really helpful. I think I’ll figure out exactly why I thought it was scarier than it was. So that I can make a similar more realistic strategic calibration for the next races 👌🏼😎

@moelholm that was smart. It's hard to know unless you've run the course before. Your mind will want to protect you from damage. Sometimes it's a bit over protective.
@moelholm have a great race and don't break a leg 😀
@riaschissl thanks so much 🤗👏🏼: I didn’t break any leg. But they are a bit tired now. Walking is cumbersome 😂
@moelholm @riaschissl Remember - you can eat anything you want tonight!
@WTL @riaschissl 😂 I like that - perhaps I should be more creative. But now it’s late and I am tired 😴 🥱 … I got a good MEGA buffet meal today: that was really good 👌🏼🤠
