FWIW, I'm interested in talking to other #NonFiction #writers who are using #Scrivener to write a #research-heavy book. There are so many approaches and I feel like I'd benefit from comparing notes on how you are organizing info, articles, links etc.
@valerie_polichar I’m interested too.
@hanspetermeyer are you doing so now?
@valerie_polichar I’m writing. I’m researching. But I’ve put Scrivener aside as I use my iOS devices to write notes, gather info etc and I found the iOS /Mac OS sync not good. Unfortunately.
Back to using iOS Notes for … notes. And trying writing apps that do the sync thing well. Ulysses seems expensive Effie seems to offer what U. does, but is less costly.
@hanspetermeyer I hadn’t heard of those two! Will look at them. I have a lot of stuff in scrivener already — links, articles, excerpts and my book outline. But I’m not really sure how to use it to best advantage. I do take some notes on iOS using Notes but I don’t notice sync trouble (though it takes a while after I start Notes on the desktop).
@valerie_polichar Ulysses is often cited as the "other" to Scrivener, or vice versa. They have a gnerous trial offer (30 days of use, not just 30 calendar days). But it's a subscription and it's not cheap...
@hanspetermeyer I don't love subscriptions for these kinds of tools because I am soooo slow that months will go by where I don't touch them (but would still have to pay for them).

@valerie_polichar Looks like I'm back to Scrivener...

ps. @scrivenerapp - I'd love a better sync option with my ios devices. Please :)
