Here's an early sneak peek of what I've been working on lately. I think I've managed to at least figure out how to fix all the major problems I can predict with this, so it *should* just be a matter of doing all the work to get this fully functional.

@tootapp I think my biggest request would be "Can I run it at a small window size off to the side rather than needing a huge amount of space". :) My current browser window size that I have the Mastodon web UI running in is about 670px across, and being able to run Toot! at that size or narrower would be amazing.

@porsupah I think for now the idea is that you can leave compose windows open and they will save their state if you quit the app, as a makeshift drafts feature.

@tootapp I cannot wait to get my hands on it 😍 (I blame using your app on iPad for not liking any of the current desktop apps anymore...😅🤷‍♂️)

I only wish that bookmarks were easier accessible (there is plenty of room in the timeline list and next to reply, boost and favorite 😇👀)
I stumble across a lot of links to articles I want to read later on desktop, but maybe I'm in the minority with that problem. 🤔

@tootapp I'm not saying that you need to make my comfort a priority in your life, but I did just get an old MacBook and this would be an instant buy for me ​

(Regardless, thank you so much, your app is what got me to stick with Mastodon and is still one of my favorite apps ever)
