Does anyone else have cats who like to hop up on their home entertainment units and plop their furry rears RIGHT in the middle of the TV screen WHILE the TV is on so that they're 100% impossible to see around, or, more to the point, impossible to ignore?!🤣

MURPHY'S LAW OF CATS: When your cat sits on anything you might need--whether it's your laptop, keys, books, papers, or projects spread across the floor/table, etc.--at the EXACT moment you need to use it. Cats have the uncanny ability to sense this & so they'll go out of their way to ensure they'll get 100% of your attention. "Oh, did you actually need to use that?" Insert cat smirk here.🤣

@authorclirwin

Reminded me of a time when our DVR box would occasionally get a dropout on a recorded program.

One day, watching the TV, and the cat jumped off the cat tree, landing directly on the DVR...

@authorclirwin Oh yes. We have the dvr box in front of the tv. It gets warm so the cats love laying over it and rendering the remote useless. Oh and the box is also right below a heating vent 😹
@Defiance 🤣🤣🤣 This sounds familiar. Ours also enjoy hanging out in the empty crevices of the entertainment units, cramming their rear-ends into the most uncomfortable-looking spots because that way, they're even CLOSER to the warmth of the devices.😉

@authorclirwin You mean like this?

She hasn't done it in a while, but she went through a phase where the TV was VERY interesting.

@tannat Lol! Yes, EXACTLY like that.🤣 I love the head tilt to the side. Ours do the same thing! It's so cute and hilarious. Apparently, your cat is very curious about soccer.😂

@authorclirwin Soccer, Formula 1, anything with motion, really.

She used to tap a paw on the Netflix loading circle too when it was spinning.

@tannat Haha! That's SO cute & SUCH a catlike thing to do. Ours especially love pawing the screen when we watch nature shows or pretty much anything with moving objects or flashing lights in it. The other day, we were watching some YouTube videos featuring big cats running around & our cats went wild, pun intended.🤣 The funny thing is that our black cat loves watching this one black leopard's videos like he knows this cat is a long-lost relation of his. He gets SUPER close to the TV.😂
