@spaceflight It's the overall discipline, a crossover between traditional architectural theory and aerospace engineering. Lots of Habitat designs are speculative, look nice, but haven't had sufficient consideration of how the volume is used.
There's a symposium of the main technical committee coming up in a couple of weeks.
