More on the creeping #privitisation of the #NHS;

#NovoNordisk, makers of the controversial #sliming jab #Wegovy are funding a range of activities & staff in (and around) NHS #obesity services... the very fact that (as the article notes) none of this is actually illegal, tells you all you need to know about the #Tories #healthcare agenda

The damage to the NHS is not one big thing, but the continual drip, drip, drip of (ignored) conflicts of interest

Revealed: maker of Wegovy ‘skinny jab’ is funding NHS weight-loss services

Critics fear conflict of interest as Novo Nordisk helps medics ‘reduce unnecessary barriers’ to treatment for obesity

@ChrisMayLA6 back when I first worked for the NHS they had in house tailoring and laundry services for uniforms. Meant you had perfectly fitting garments that where kept clean and maintained. That was privatised, along with the NHSs distributing network.

Then came the ward upgrades that where paid for by private hospitals which then took ownership and charged the NHS per bed per day while having the NHS both staff and maintain those wards!

It’s all small chips brining down the mountain.
