In case anyone is wondering how fun it is to live in Iceland, avalanche fell on a small town on the east coast of Iceland and blizzard condition are making rescue operations challenging. Luckily no one was seriously injured or killed. Several folks no longer have a livable house though and the entire town has been evacuated for fear of more avalanches.
Few nearby towns have also been cleared for the same reason. Yes it's currently spring in Iceland.
In the capital on the other hand, which is on the west coast, the weather is cool but sunny and nice.
