arclight@drscriptt Machines that consistently misinterpret their relationship with the root user either get paved or scrapped. I tolerate no dissent from my machines. One way or another, the machine will shut down when I tell it to shut down. We can do it the easy way or the way that involves me pulling the power lead out of the outlet.
I have pretty low tolerance for BS sysadminnery these days.
