Should I bleach and dye my hair dark red (like red velvet cake red, not natural redhead red) before top surgery or after recovering from surgery?

Let me know why in the replies! I'll also add more details there for the curious

I've bleached and dyed my hair many, many times before, from middle school thru my limited time at college, but stopped as a means of saving money and energy since raising my arms over my head has become increasingly painful over the years. I think it'll actually look quite cute as the roots grow out and the dye fades to a light orange, so I'm not super worried about that. But if there's anything I haven't yet considered since it's been so long, I wanna consider it before making my decision!
Frankly my natural hair color has grown so dull to me in more ways than one and if I can get up the energy and nerve to just take the plunge and bleach my hair for the first time in a few years, I think it has the potential to make me really happy. On the other hand, I'm concerned about looking silly or self conscious since I'm so out of practice of having any unnatural hair color and I've been trying over the years to kinda blend in and not be very notable in my appearance, for better or worse.
I think the latter concerns are the kind I should just roundhouse kick in the face because they come from a place of fear and trying to hide from the world and as scary as things are right now, I don't think dyed hair is the thing that's gonna get me clocked and additionally I don't think me getting clocked where I live is nearly as dangerous as my prey animal brain tells me it is. I have a mustache and DD tits, I get clocked all the time. Why am I scared of having blue hair and pronouns lol
@DannyRedwoods First, congrats! Top surgery is one of the most positively life altering experiences I've had.
Second, I'd do it before, you really don't want to be raising your arms any more than necessary, to minimize the risk of stretching the scars.
Third, it'd be cool to go into the surgery feeling confident and awesome about how you look and then come out feeling EVEN AWESOMER.
