Are you feeling chained to your desk? Whether you're working from home, hot decking, or in the office full time, we've got some quick tips to make you more comfortable.

1. If you're using a laptop, lift it to eye height (even pop it on a shoe box!) and use a separate mouse and keyboard in the table top.

2. Try propping your feet up on something so they're comfortable and flat. This helps to stop you crossing your legs, which can affect your pelvis and low back.

3. Move regularly. Ideally, every 30-45 minutes. It doesn't have to be a marathon. Just walking around your chair a couple of times or going to the printer. Set a timer on your phone or use an egg timer.

4. Try to have your seat about an inch higher than your knees. This helps to keep a good posture through your lower back.

5. Look onto sit-stand converters. You can pick them up fairly cheaply online. They're an easy way to see if standing is for you before taking the plunge.
