John Gruber@monkeyclaw I owned a Newton and liked aspects of it a lot, but it's undeniable that it was a dud sales-wise.
@gruber Oh for sure, I’m just kidding lol. It gets a bad rap in the eyes of history but there were a lot of really interesting concepts that they experimented with and I still kind of admire the ambition behind the Newton even if it ultimately blew up in their faces. Anyways, I doubt the headset will end up being Tim Cook’s Newton but I do hope they take some risks and are just as ambitious.
