Unfortunately for the past week or so, both the loop and the dipole have been yielding results similar to the lightbulb 😆
At present, I believe it has more to do with condx than not.
WB2EEE - Matthew@on5zo this explains why FT8 has taken over so many hams - they can use a light bulb antenna and get enjoyment only a little behind using a full dipole for voice comms.

And once one of my antennas acted like a light bulb.
After my neighbour mentioned nightly fireworks, I quit using coaxial traps for QRO.
