A close family member had an accident, and now I have to worry about them catching covid in a trauma step-down unit where masks are *optional* for the healthcare workers. Imagine—no attempt to keep trauma patients safe from airborne pathogens, and that’s official CDC policy.

@ibrake4ants @taylorlorenz l am so very fortunate to be a patient in the Wexner (yes that Wexner) Medical Center system because masks are still required. Just baggy blues but it’s something at least. I of course wear an N95.
