Oh well, I forgot to bring water for the ride, became exhausted, and ended up with target fixation. The photo shows the result of my fatigue.
Luckily, the crash bars did their job pretty well and protected my motorcycle from more serious damage.

@Azt3c

scary, glad you're ok!

@Sailing_Engineer
Thanks! I am OK, just minor bruise. Not my first crash: full protection gear helps a lot in such occasions.

@Azt3c

vigilant preparation is a lifesaver in so many circumstances in life.

@Azt3c I hope you're feeling ok
@Paul
I'm fine, thanks mate. Just a couple of bruises, that's it.
...but now I'm thinking of something lighter and narrower, something more for offroad riding πŸ˜…

@Azt3c

D’Oh!!! I had a fatigue related wreck last summer. Defnly a lesson learned the hard way and one I hope to never repeat. Good to hear that you and the bike are ok

@bayport
I had even bought a Camelbak hydration pack, but this ride was very spontaneous. I had gone to our local coffee shop to restock on coffee beans, and while I was sitting and enjoying my coffee, I suddenly decided to go for a ride for a couple of hundred kilometers. 🀣

@Azt3c

Ha! suddenly decided… livin’ the dream feaux sheaux!!! 🏍️

@Azt3c That looks like it’s in a tricky position to pick up too. Hope all is ok.
@KevinsMusings
It wasn't THAT tricky (though required a lot of strength and bike picking up skills). It was just bloody hot πŸ˜…
Few scratches on the crash bars, but that's their purpose.
