Does anybody know anything about the safety of these gummies, supposedly derived from mushrooms, that are starting to appear in head shops?
They all appear to have chemistry based on the fly agaric mushroom.
There are several brands starting to appear in the USA in various states.
These appear to be "Lifted Made" brand, but no markings!

Fly Agaric is not a good way to go, that's shamanic, and basically just poison. I actually can't fathom what they are thinking. Muscarine is just poison, not actually hallucinogenic, many mushrooms contain lethal levels of that poison.
now if they had psilocybe cubensis... now that's a good time!
@hajistar Generally, I agree with you. But psilocybe are illegal in the US, so I'm guessing gummies derived from them are unlikely. (If I am wrong about that, please let me know!)
My question was more about the safety of these relative to fly agaric, per se. That is, given fly agaric as the standard, are these worse or better or the same?
If I had a reindeer, I'd feed him the gummies and use the process that they've used with the mushrooms for a long time! 🤣
Psilocybe are legal now in Oregon and Colorado and other states are figuring it out.
