It's a much-needed connecting thread between #NetworkScience and #NLP. It also covers other related topics, from web scrapping to social network analysis to unsupervised machine learning, but the book does not revolve around #MachineLearning — this is SO refreshing! 2/4

Not all NLP should involve #MachineLearning! But I often see NLP tutorials rush or skip the exploratory data analysis and focus on the ML part. #NetworkAnalysis methods provide a fascinating way of learning about the corpus or any other kind of #data for that matter. 3/4

Often revelations found with these methods will lead to better #datacleaning, #dataprep, and even modeling. In my experience, it pays off! I'm by no means an expert, though. There are many topics in the book I'm eager to sink my teeth into! I will post about them as I learn :) 4/4
