As a deligent Wikipedian, I've created an article about 'Return Visit!' by Tubby Hayes & the All Stars, issued by Fontana. 😀 A #QuincyJones produced session featuring the great Roland T. Kirk & Sam Jones! See: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Return_Visit_(album)

I've also been working this week on the article about the man himself, #TubbyHayes, which, before I got there, was a sad reflection on the 'Little Giant'. See: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tubby_Hayes

Help me make these better, if you can!

Return Visit (album) - Wikipedia

I'll being continuing some work on Tubby this week, perhaps looking at his Fontana release, 'Tubbs' -- but also keen to improve Alan Skidmore's article. Help me out folks! 🙂 #jazz #wikipedia #TubbyHayes #AlanSkidmore
@g3om4c A blog describes Surman-Osborne-Skidmore as "great but terribly under-documented" which seems about right, and sadly problematic for #wikipedia sourcing. The blog mentions that Surman also played synth and Skidmore drums: definitely the synth when I saw them but I don't recall drums.
@g3om4c I am pretty sure SOS performed on a BBC2 Saturday night cultural prog (one which featured Roxy Music on another evening), but don't see that listed at https://jazzinbritain.wordpress.com/s-o-s-surman-osborne-skidmore/ or elsewhere

@AllyD This is still useful though. Thanks Ally! Skidmore featured on the BBC Radio 3 jazz library podcast 10-12 years, which is useful source of primary evidence! 🙂
