It's really powerful to understand how important Enterprise Social Networks are to keep people engaged. Not really surprising to see this...but I'll bet that #spacekaren is going to make them use some sort of internal twitter. This is because of his buddy (and my former boss) #DavidSachs who started #Yammer.

Report: More Twitter drama after Slack shutdown; employees play hooky

It’s possible that Twitter might be ditching Slack.

@greg

You are probably right, but…

Crikey! The Fowl App is *not* a replacement for Slack!

Forcing people to use a private twitter for internal messaging would be akin to making them use something worse than Microsoft Teams and, as it already stands, forcing people to use Teams should be punishable with fines and/or imprisonment.

@PhilipMartin But this way, Elon can tweak the algorithm to make it so everyone knows he’s the most important person in the company.

@greg

True, but he’ll also have to have the ‘block’ and ‘mute’ functionality disabled in his private, ‘Elmotweet’ version, otherwise many of his indentured servants, er, remaining workers, might not see his posts!

Don’t get me wrong, I assume he will be moving those functions to paid-users-only status in The Fowl App soon enough, so he probably has his developers working on it already.
