I've been warning about this for a long time. The longterm goal of hostile, state- and corporate-sponsored disinformation purveyors has been to weaponize human beings against each other -- and to get them to kill themselves when they're no longer useful.

Same as it ever was. This has been happening as long as there are people with more who want to keep the people with less from sharing in their spoils.
I'm talking millennia here. This isn't something new.
The difference these days is the speed of communication. We focus too much on the speed of disinformation while ignoring the opposite is true.
