CEO of Block Party, Tracy Chou, is resentful that "tech people" have migrated away from Twitter and are now using Mastodon.

She doesn't want to spend time here but she must because so much important stuff pertaining to her job gets discussed here—not on Twitter.

@atomicpoet i wonder why people actually prefer twitter to fedi (any network effects notwithstanding)

@Rairii I imagine there's many reasons:

1. Resistance to change
2. Preference for centralization
3. Better relevancy algorithms

Many people like Twitter for reasons that I don't.
