How modern is the new interface?
Charty 2.0 is being rewritten from the ground up in SwiftUI, leveraging all recent efforts from Apple. So expect a cleaner and easier to use UI, with more intuitive controls that get things done with less taps!
How beautiful are those new charts?
Apple rocked my world on #WWDC22 releasing their new charting library SwiftCharts, and it is *really* impressive! Check out some of the new charts you’ll soon be able to build. 😍📈📊

Why is Charty 2.0 a new app?
In order to modernize the app, everything is being updated. From how data is stored in the app to rewriting all of its Shortcuts’ actions and how charts are rendered. Releasing this as an update would completely break compatibility for current users.
I’ll have more information about everything in the near future, including a TestFlight. For now, I’m really happy with how it’s shaping up and how cool the new charts are looking in SwiftCharts.
