Weird how when you come with a new way to use the n-word that you don’t want to define it
People saying that not being able to define “woke” with a hard r is part of the right’s strategy. True! Which is why it’s best to respond, “What does ‘woke’ mean other than just a fancy way to use the n-word?”
@lolgop it’s just the newest word they use to broadly describe things they simply don’t like. Before woke it was
- social justice warriors
- socialism
- liberals
They don’t know the actual meaning of any of these words, but that doesn’t stop them from throwing them around in every other sentence.

@lolgop Anyone who uses woke in a sentence is telling me they watch Fox News 24/7.

Love the “What does X mean?” reply. Been using it for a while because right wing maga types have no idea why they say things as they’re just regurgitating what they hear.

@lolgop someone said this, and it stuck with me as a child of the south: calling someone "woke" is just an updated way to call them "n-word lover". Now everytime I hear if I translate it to that and the hate is clear as glass.
@ArmyGirl @lolgop
Bingo! When I was a kid, a neighborhood racist kid called me a ‘n-word lover’. ‘Woke’ means the same, without having to use the actual n-word.
@lolgop conservatives will always protect their right to be bigots. Their anger rests that white people will lose dominance
