I was having issues installing an OS on this SunBlade 1000. I wasn’t sure if it was an issue with the Fibre Channel controller or drive, so I attempted to install the OS onto the Jaz drive.

Ultimately it appeared to be an issue with the memory. After yanking a bunch of sticks, it was ok.

@mroach do you happen to have pictures of the labels underneath those pizza boxes? It will be hard to say what those are without context/details.

@mroach I have an SB1000 in storage. I powered it up a few years ago after being offline for about 15 years and it came right up. Clock was off by a few minutes, that’s all.
