OK, been outside again as the wind has quieted a bit. Well... the ~50deg antenna is intact... whereas the 290deg one is destroyed 💀 even though it was secured more firmly 🤦‍♂️

Now, need to wind that 16:1 balun back again. #Ulf #Otto

EDIT 1502z: antenna back up & running. For some reason, I'm experiencing quite a lot of noise on 40m though 🙄

And same on the 50deg KAZ. None of them is really designed for 10m, each being made of 42m of wire and terminated with 1000Ohm, but they work nevertheless 😅 but which one does deliver more North American contesters? #hamr #hamradio #amateurradio #ARRL #ARRLCW
