It has been a... wild ride for some larger instances lately. Just saw the info about mastodon.au; They will be shutting down in 3 months (was 7 days*).This does not give people much time to move over.

Importing accounts should be a breeze right now, as the system is sitting at 8% CPU utilization with some recent upgrades :)

If you are on mastodon.au PLEASE move to another instance. Doesn't need to be toot.garden! Once your instance goes down, it's gone, and you can't recover your account.

*The timeline changed to 3 months, but I still don't recommend waiting.
