After a blood panel and a CT (both contrast and non-contrast) it turns out that my last three months have been so shockingly miserable because I have been walking around with three (THREE!) simultaneous and unrelated infections and one late-forming but severe allergy. I thank my lucky stars that I work for a company with generous sick policies and fantastic health insurance. I have (1) Lyme Disease Classic; (2) Babesia (a charmer of a tick-borne parasite that was likely delivered by the same little fucker of a tick that gave me (1)); (3) acute sinusitis; and (4) cat allergies. That I could arise on any morning is astounding to me - that I had a headache since early December is no longer surprising at all.
