I've been working with Blythe Bernhard on trying to understand the #StLouis Archdiocese's efforts to consolidate and reorganize.

It has been challenging to show the evolving proposals through the All Things News process. But I'm pretty happy with where I landed on this animated/interactive map for St. Cecilia.

The 178 parishes in the archdiocese would be merged into 88 “pastorates” — groups of one or more parishes served by a single priest designated as pastor.

@[email protected] Yeah, the territorial merges lend themselves to straightforward, but effective, visuals. But showing the *personal* parishes at the same time can be quite a challenge.
