Interesting post last night that came with some light grade drama in #superstonk

OP posts this thread, it gets removed by a mod within 30 minutes or so, causing uproar in the subreddit, and then is promptly re-instated. All within about 90 minutes.

Then the post is marked as debunked, for actually a pretty good reason: the post used ChatGPT to back some claims and ChatGPT provided some false links to support the claims made. I agree that the ChatGPT stuff is not a valid source of corroborating information especially in this case.

However, in my opinion it was actually still a good post regardless even with some flaws.

#GMERICA is something but we don't know for sure what.

something is going on over at #BBBY but it's hard to say what

Either way, it has been an interesting case surrounding the mystery of #BBBY, GME, and Gmerica.

I can't fault people for being confused. I'm confused too!

There is a war going on among billionaires, fighting over billion dollar companies.

Some billionaires are trying to profit from BBBY's looming bankruptcy.

Other billionaires are taking the counter bet, trying to profit from the reality that maybe BBBY isn't going to go bankrupt.

This war is happening and retail plays a role.

Although I really don't know what will happen, what I will say is that I do believe that #BedBathAndBeyond is definitely not going bankrupt.

In this kind of zero-sum all-or-nothing war that is being played, the winning condition for one side necessarily is bankruptcy of the company.

I believe, for reasons, that bankruptcy is simply off the table, and therefore the side betting on a bankruptcy happening is going to lose.

To me, the thing of significance here is the mystery and doubt of it all.

#superstonk mods, or at least one of them, seem to be more or less antagonistic towards #bbby, which I find interesting. In my opinion, the connection and significance of #bbby to the greater #GameStop and #GMERICA saga is undeniable.

But the devil is in the details, and I am not skilled or experienced enough at reading financial documents to come to a certain conclusion myself.

the BBBY subreddit paints a very different picture than the one that is being permitted on superstonk.

and it is this difference between narratives, difference between echo chambers where the interesting mystery is.

The real truth is probably somewhere a little closer in between both. Both can have a mostly true narrative that is supported by some poor or misleading pieces of data.

One important piece from BBBY subreddit:

https://www.reddit.com/r/BBBY/comments/10zsek8/dont_forget_sue_gove_bought_50k_shares_with_her/

which harmonizes with Ryan Cohen's view:

Don't forget, Sue Gove bought 50k shares with her own money at $4.61 avg. Do you really think the CEO of $BBBY is gonna F*** herself in this deal? Tune out the FUD, buy a space helmet.
